One of the easiest ways to get essential oils into your system is by using an aromatherapy nasal inhaler. They are inexpensive devices (available on Amazon, https://amzn.to/4g5jhuC) and use 20-30 drops of essential oils. Your aromatherapist can help you make your own or formulate one for you. Using essential oils specifically indicated for your concerns, these are great for any respiratory conditions, especially congestion in the chest or sinuses, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestion and much more.
There are four parts to an inhaler. The wick, the base which houses the wick after essential oils are applied to it, the cap to the base, and the outer cap or covering which screws onto the base.
If you are making your own inhaler, make sure the oils you use are safe (ex. most of the eucalyptus oils are not for children under 6 years of age), limit the amount to 30 drops, and be sure to label the inhaler. With daily use, your inhaler should last 6-8 weeks before needing more essential oils.
