Muscle/Joint Pain and Inflammation Remedy Recipe

This is a great remedy to have on hand for muscle/joint pain. This could be soreness after a workout, arthritis, or any muscle/joint pain. You can use this formulation by itself or for more effective relief, apply this blend to the affected area and apply a compress: cover with a hot, wet cloth and cover this with a dry cloth and leave covered for 15 minutes.


12 drops bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia)


12 drops black pepper essential oil (Piper nigrum)


12 drops marjoram (Origanum majorana)


2 oz. carrier oil (sesame, olive. and/or castor oil which has the ability to carry the essential oils deep into the tissues. A blend of sesame and castor oils as the carrier oil base could be powerful.) This is about a 3% dilution of essential oils in the carrier oil.


Mix these together and store in a dark colored bottle away from light and heat.
