DIY Effective and Safe Lemon Kitchen Cleaner Recipe

There are numerous factors to consider when avoiding the use of commercial household cleaners, as they often contain harsh and toxic ingredients. Fortunately, there exists a safe alternative that not only proves effective in removing grease and has antimicrobial properties but also imparts a pleasant lemon fragrance. This is the preferred choice for maintaining cleanliness in my kitchen.

• 30 drops lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) essential oil

• 20 drops lemon (Citrus limon) essential oil

• 1 teaspoon dish liquid

• 1 cup white vinegar

• 2 cups water

Mix essential oils with dish liquid. Mix this with the vinegar and water. Pour into a spray bottle. Use on stove top, counters, sinks, etc.
